Hello friends and family! I’m back, locked and loaded and ready to go.

After a brief break away for the mid January and all of February and March, I return ready to fill these pages with Franklin events, articles about our area, and of course my opinions. And there are soooo many things to write about these days. From all the upcoming events that Franklin is so well known for, to my thoughts on today’s current events.

I hope you enjoy what you find here. And I hope that if you agree or disagree with me, or another writer on here, that you create a login (you can hide your name with a screen name) and voice your thoughts.

If you want to write an article, and opinion piece, or just about your day, go for it. It does not cost you a thing. Lots of people have blogs, but their blogs will not have traffic like I have here. So use MyTownFranklin as your blog.

I just ask you to keep it clean, family friendly. If I won’t let my 8-year-old daughter read it, you most likely won’t see it on MyTownFranklin.

So enjoy! And write! And if you want to advertise to the traffic I get from all over the country let me know.

Tourney Brackets
Carolina faces Oklahoma today for the chance to move onto the final four in the NCAA tournament. If I had to explain what Carolina and Oklahoma were doing today, then you probably don’t care about the basketball tourney or what I have to tell you below. Read more...

Who knew Hulu?

Lou Vitale
President of Macon Users Group

Just when I thought there was no way for me to waste any more time at the computer along comes Hulu. As you know by now I am a fan of YouTube. As of today I have had over 54,000 views of my videos on that site. An incredible amount of collective time has been wasted just looking at my videos, let alone the hundreds of million other videos on the site. And now there is something better. Read more...
